The Cambridge Foundation is pleased to announce:

The Cambridge Foundation in conjunction with a number of family scholarship funds granted the sum of $25,500.00 in scholarships to 21 graduated students from the Cambridge Public Schools and Koshkonong Trails School.

Ripley Park Improvement Project

The Ripley Park Improvement Project began in June of 2020 with the goal to help with water retention challenges. This phased project will add a beautiful wetland along with many native plantings to ensure proper drainage as well as supporting wildlife and pollinators.

Phase 1 - access road to the beach, wetland installations, retention basin

Phase 2 & 3 - erosion control installation, vegetation installation, maintenance, and monitoring

The Cambridge Foundation provides funds in support of many projects and purchases that go on in our community. We are very proud to be a part of the many ways that we have made our home town a better place to live! Here are just a few projects that the Foundation has been part of, and/or are still in progress.

  • Amundson Community Center construction

  • The development of Cam-Rock Park

  • The construction of the Cambridge Clinic (doctor's office)

  • Community Tree Fund

  • West Side Park development and maintenance

  • The construction of the Cambridge boy scout camp

Cambridge Foundation 2024 Grants

The Foundation has provided grants to the following organizations for various community projects throughout 2024.

Cambridge Foundation: $15,000.00 for operational expenses.

Lake Ripley Park: $54,709.00 for operations, management and improvements.
Allocated $44,709.00 to Cambridge Community Activities Program for operations and $10,000.00 for capital expenditures.

Cambridge Community Activities Program: $10,000.00
Allocated as follows: $3,000.00 for senior luncheons; $2,500.00 for storage containers, $2,500.00 for free snack program, $1,000.00 for CAP CARE scholarships and $1,000.00 to purchase a Bye Bye Buggy. In addition, the Cambridge Foundation supports the Food Pantry.

Village of Cambridge: $48,304.00
Allocated as follows: $40,000.00 for flooring in the Amundson Community Center, $5,694.00 for electricity at the Cambridge Waste Site and $2,610.00 for landscaping at the Amundson Community Center.

Cambridge Historic School Foundation: $50,000.00 to fund a portion of the lift installation and construction. We previously granted $5,500.00 for engineering services.

Cambridge Community Library: $5,700.00 for Makerspace cabinet, workbench and stools.

Cambridge Area Resource Team (CART): $18,000.00 to fund a portion of the salary for the social worker for our School and Community.

Village of Rockdale: $16,000.00 for exterior siding for the municipal building.

Cambridge Arts Council: $6,500.00 to support the Arts in our Community and Midwest Fire Fest.

Cambridge-Deerfield Players Theater: $20,000.00 for use toward the privacy curtain, microphones, wireless intercom system, lighting fixtures and light board.

Cambridge Public Schools: $5,000.00 contributed toward the purchase of a new wrestling mat.
